Honda’s UK arm confirmed that it’s opened a pre-order bank intended for the forthcoming, 2nd generation NSX hybrid sports car. And until now, Japanese carmaker has just shown the pre-production concept versions of the great NSX that will be sold under the nice Acura brand in the North America and also China.
Because of it, the stunning NSX is already getting unprecedented demand in U.K, in which the potential buyers will be able to put a deposit of $7,650, to be among the first to receive behind the wheel of the hybrid model when it comes in England market showroom in the year of 2015.
Phil Crossman, who is the Managing Director of Honda U.K said that they are really glad with that interest since they’re still two years away from the revealing of the car. He added that they’ve received over 20 deposits before it announce prices or show the final production car. Along with this process in place, they’re sure that the demand will stay strong and early hand raisers will be able to visit any Honda dealership in England and then place a deposit.
Honda U.K had now done the same with the 1st generation of the great NSX that saw 25 pre-orders being taken a year before its U.K launch in the year of 1990. The latest model features a nice mid-mounted, the direct-injected V6 engine coupled to the Honda’s Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system with two electric motors and also a dual clutch transmission with a nice built-in electric motor.
The latest NSZ will be produced at a latest Honda group production facility in the central Ohio, in U.S.A. in addition, Honda didn’t say when and if Honda will open the order books in the other countries around the world.
