While PSA is publishing the closing of one factory after the other factories, the local rivals, Renault, are now doing nothing of the sort. Actually, Renault published that it will be investing $542 million intended for the preparation of the great Douai factory, in France, intended for the production of no fewer than five dissimilar cars all at once.
Three of those cars have been published for 2015: the all-new Laguna, Scenic and Espace. The plant is receiving some extra facilities that Renaults says are the most technically advanced and also technologically advanced. Renault has a plan to add up a hot stamping section, developing the size of the plastics unit, which would supply the parts for the export use at eth other local factories, in addition to adding up the aluminum stamping facilities to make the lighter body panes more easily along with the declaration of lessening the CO2 emissions of their vehicles.
However, the equipment will be upgraded and the entire plant will be re-tooled and also modernized. It’ll contain one single production line, in addition to the so-called single-flow standard.
